Program Director at the Population Health Research Institute (PHRI), affiliated with McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences. A seasoned and visionary health system leader, he brings over a decade of experience in the health sector at regional, provincial, and national levels.

Mr. Lim holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Laws in Health Law, equipping him with deep expertise in health system planning and performance, policy development, health legislation and regulation, and system-wide transformation. His areas of focus include strategic planning, project and program management, quality improvement, stakeholder engagement, and leadership development.

Certified in both project and change management, Mr. Lim has consistently led initiatives that drive meaningful improvements across Canada’s health care landscape.

At Building Bridges, Mr. Lim will represent ACT-AEC (Accelerating Clinical Trials – Accélérer les Essais Cliniques) Canada to explore the evolving infrastructure supporting clinical trial access for rare disease communities. This session will highlight collaborative efforts to streamline trial participation, reduce barriers for families, and ensure Canadian patients are not left behind in therapeutic advancements. Through this work, Mr. Lim helps bridge the gap between research, regulation, and real-world care—ensuring clinical trials reach the individuals and families who need them most.
