  • (Saturday). Arrival at 8:30 a.m. depart by bedtime. (Includes lunch, supper, snacks, activities and camping fun. No overnight stay is permitted)

    There is no early bird rate for this ticket.

    If camp is required to be cancelled due to Provincial restrictions based on COVID 19 FULL refunds will be given.

  • Official sponsors are invited to bring 2 people to camp. This ticket includes the following:

    - Meals Friday-Sunday
    - Activities Friday-Sunday
    - Display booth on Saturday.

    **Please use this pass ONLY if you will be staying in a hotel AND attending camp Friday-Sunday. If you will only be joining us on Saturday please select the day pass so we order and pay for meals correctly.

    Your hotel booking will be at your own cost. Please see below for hotel options.

    Available hotel options reserved for camp: Friday ONLY – Village Inn 39 Queen St, Lakefield ON, K0L 2H0. Hotel Costs – One night charge is $112.50+tax, You provide transportation to and from the hotel/camp. When calling to make reservations please quote “CanPKU” for the group booking prices. Please book by Aug 1st to grab this rate. Friday and Saturday Nights - Best Western 84 Lansdowne St. E, Peterborough On, K9J-6Z3 (just a little more of a drive than the Village Inn). The rate we have been able to secure is $155/night minimum of 2 nights stay. (Plus 4%MAT and 13% HST) includes complimentary breakfast served 6:30-9:30. Rate is based on 2 people/room. Extra people is $15/night. Please call 705-742-3454 and request to book into the CANPKU Room Block.
  • Official sponsors are invited to bring 2 people to camp. This ticket includes the following:

    - Meals on Saturday

    - Display booth on Saturday.

    This pass can also be used for "Glamping" if you are only attending camp on the Saturday.

    - 1 (bunk) bed in a cabin for up to 2 reps
    - Meals from Friday to Sunday
    - Activities from Friday to Sunday
    - Display booth on Saturday.
  • This is a pass for Saturday for Volunteers.

    Your fees will be covered for you in place of your efforts at camp.

    Your meals and activities will be included.

    In return we will ask you to assist running the camp. You can let us know if you have preferences in what you would like to help with.
    We will try to accommodate where possible:

    Crafts

    If you are earning hours towards your high school requirements a certificate will be provided at the end of camp for you to take back to your high school.
  • This is a pass for Friday-Sunday for Volunteers.

    Your fees will be covered for you in place of your efforts at camp.

    You will be given 1 bunk bed for staying at camp. Your meals and activities will be included.

    In return we will ask you to assist running the camp. You can let us know if you have preferences in what you would like to help with. We will try to accommodate where possible:

  • Please use this option if you have had the travel scholarship approved that covers your camp fees.

Please register at this event page if you plan on ATTENDING IN PERSON. Veuillez vous inscrire sur cette page d'événement si vous prévoyez y assister EN PERSONNE. 

  • Activities will include information sessions, break out groups, outdoor activities, crafts, campfires and more.
  • Meals are provided keeping low protein diets in mind. Please let us know on the registration form if any additional dietary needs are required to be met. We will do our best to accommodate
  • Please bring your own formula and medications. You are permitted to bring your favorite snacks to ensure you consume what you need.
  • Activities are provided for all age groups.
  • At camp you will find Adults with PKU going on hikes together, children doing crafts, families swimming (weather permitting), and no one feeling “rare”.
  • Tents and cabins not for you? That’s ok, check out the “Glamping” option where you can come for the whole weekend participating in all activities you wish, but at night, you retreat to your hotel room with a few more comforts of home.
  • Les activités comprendront des séances d'information, des groupes de discussion, des activités de plein air, de l'artisanat, des feux de camp et plus encore.
  • Les repas sont fournis en gardant à l'esprit les régimes pauvres en protéines. Veuillez nous indiquer sur le formulaire d'inscription si des besoins alimentaires supplémentaires doivent être satisfaits. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour vous accommoder.
  • Veuillez apporter vos propre formules et vos médicaments. Vous êtes autorisé à apporter vos collations préférées pour vous assurer de consommer ce dont vous avez besoin.
  • Des activités sont proposées pour tous les groupes d'âge.
  • Au camp, vous trouverez des adultes atteints de PCU faisant des randonnées ensemble, des enfants faisant de l'artisanat, des familles nageant (si la météo le permet) et personne ne se sentant « rare »
  • Les tentes et les cabanes ne vous conviennent pas? Ce n'est pas grave, jetez un oeil à l'option "Glamping" où vous pouvez venir tout le week-end en participant à toutes les activités que vous souhaitez, mais le soir, vous vous retirez dans votre chambre d'hôtel avec un peu plus de confort.
