8th Annual HCU Race for ResearchHelp advance homocystinuria research The HCU Race for Research is an annual virtual event held every fall from September 1-30. 
We are proud to announce that CanPKU+ has partnered with HCU Network America for the 8th Annual HCU Race for Research, an event raising critical funds to advance research for homocystinuria (HCU). Supporting HCU research in Canadian dollarsCanPKU+ will collect donations in Canadian dollars to support HCU-specific research. All funds will be held by our organization and directed toward this shared research goal. Please note: CanPKU+ is a not-for-profit organization, but it is not a registered charity. Donations are not eligible for charitable tax receipts. Your contribution will directly support meaningful HCU research initiatives. Ensuring Canadian perspectives are representedTo help ensure Canadian perspectives are included in these efforts, Melanie Colter, the HCU Representative on the CanPKU+ Board of Directors, will serve on HCU Network America's Global Scientific Advisory Board. This Board reviews research proposals, makes funding decisions, and helps shape priorities for HCU research globally. Follow the CanPKU+ RaceSupport your favourite team car when making your donation. Donations assigned to all three teams combine toward CanPKU+'s shared $1,000 Race for Research goal. Each team car's position reflects the donations assigned to that team.
